    How to describe dimensions and samples

    Measure the product that goes inside.

    Include the cap and any protruding parts. Label length, width and height on a photo or drawing, and specify mm or inches. For a cylindrical product, diameter × overall height is useful.

    Material reference
    Discuss paper, colour or finish. A material reference does not establish your product fit.
    Structural sample
    Review fit, removal, construction or assembly. Confirm any differences from planned production materials and printing.
    Printed sample
    Review the agreed printed appearance and construction. Confirm the process, materials and what still needs validation.

    “Discuss with me” is a valid starting point. Sample fees, shipping and revisions are agreed separately; no sample type automatically approves production.
